Charcuterie Board - Ancient Sinker Cypress and Green Envy Resin
This hand-crafted Charcuterie Board made from Ancient Sinker Cypress Wood, cut from a log that was found by a construction crew while they were digging a man-made lake near Baton Rouge, LA. 25' below the surface! This amazing piece of wood is estimated to be in the 800 to 1200 year old range! That makes this a real one of a kind piece of history you can have in your home. Not only is this wood old, it has beautiful figure and chatoyance. We have paired this with our favorite Green Envy Resin on either side, to give you the full tree experience. The top surface and sides are coated in a crystal clear resin to show off the natural beauty. The bottom side of the board was left natural and was given a board wax finish made from mineral oil and beeswax and comes with 4 clear rubber feet to elevate the board and give you a non-slip experience on any surface. We do not recommend using these as cutting boards but more as a serving display for your meats, cheeses and spreads.
