Hand Turned on the lathe by Mike Navarre of OutCastBlanks. This bowl if made from a single piece of Maple Burl wood With amazing figure throughout showing off the live edges and bark inclusions. Made to give the illusion of a bowl emerging through the base, elevated by the winged legs that sprawl out to the sides. Topped with a matching Lid featuring a simple Claro Walnut Finial handle. The underside is marked with the maker mark and the Brass Crow logo inlay. This is bowl #1 in the collection. This bowl is fully functional as a lidded dish or as an art display in your home.
